A relaxing Sunday visiting nearby gardens. Tour at your own pace, any way you like. Guides are at each garden to answer your questions.
Jun 08, 2025, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Convention and Visitors Bureau, 667 E State St, Athens, OH 45701, USA
Come join the Athens County Humane Society’s 31st Annual Garden Tour on June 8. Online ticket sales are closed, but you can still purchase your tickets at the event. Everything starts at 11 AM at the Convention and Visitors Bureau, 667 E. State Street, Athens (in front of the Community Center). Enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon, meandering through 9 beautiful gardens in the Athens area. You’ll see a variety of displays with beautiful flowers, foliage and outdoor decorating ideas you might want to explore for your own garden. Volunteers at each location will direct you to parking, or introduce you to the gardener to answer your questions.
Start your tour at the Convention and Visitors Bureau, where we’ll give you a brochure guiding you to each of the garden locations. Descriptions of each garden are included. With your brochure in hand, visit the gardens in any order you like!
GARDEN TOUR TICKETS: ONLINE SALES ARE CLOSED. BUY TICKETS IN PERSON AT THE EVENT. Admission is $20 and gives you access to all the gardens in the brochure. Tour tickets will also be available for purchase that morning at the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Rain or shine! We look forward to a sunny day, but if an umbrella is needed let's enjoy the gardens that way instead.
RAFFLE TICKETS: ONLINE SALES ARE CLOSED. BUY TICKETS IN PERSON AT THE EVENT.
There are also four incredible raffle packages being offered. Raffle tickets are $10 and can be purchased below. (Also available on the day of at the Convention and Visitors Bureau.) Winners will be contacted on Tuesday, June 10th. View the details of each raffle package.
How the Raffles work: With every ticket you purchase below, a chance to win is added to our pool of entries (six tickets create six chances, etc.). You can buy paper tickets at
the event too, and we'll enter each of those into the same pool.
On Tuesday June 10th, we’ll randomly select four winners—one for each raffle package. The information your provide is how we contact the winners, so please print clearly on paper tickets!
100 percent of all proceeds are used to support the operations of the Athens County Humane Society—volunteers helping animals since 1910. Thank you for helping us help animals!
