The Athens County Humane Society isn’t part of, or funded by any national organization. We’re just local volunteers here to help animals. We’ve been doing this work in Athens County since 1910.

Your donation provides immediate assistance to animals suffering from abuse, sickness, starvation, and homelessness. We’re funded by generous community members like you. Thank you!

Fund our TNR program to help us control the feral cat population in Athens County.
This fund helps cover our Humane Agent's expenses. He responds to reports of animal neglect and abuse in the county.
Donating here helps subsidize our low-cost spay/neuter program, keeping these services affordable for our low-income neighbors.
